Dr. Miriam Ayres has a PhD in languages and literature from Yale University. She is a multilingual former Fulbright scholar and NYU faculty member with over 25 years of experience in higher education as a teacher and academic advisor. Her publications include articles for the Arts & Culture section of The New York Times and Granta. As an editor and copy editor, she has worked on book manuscripts published by Yale UP, Brill, and Cambridge UP.
