With online teaching being the new norm right now because of COVID-19, we realize this may be unfamiliar territory for many of you, especially those of you who are teaching elementary, middle, and high school. Teaching online is a much different experience than teaching in-person, and it can be disorienting, especially in the beginning. With Zoom, PowerPoint, printed materials, and more, you might be feeling a little out of your element or overwhelmed.

The same goes for students: learning via an online or distance program is much different than being in-person and it may not click with each students' individual learning style. We offer services to help make it a little less difficult.

In addition to our general editing and statistics services, our team of professional editors and statisticians provide a range of services that can help you with your online teaching and learning. Wondering how? Let us explain:

For Teachers

Editing PowerPoint presentations and lectures. If you’re using PowerPoint in your lesson plans, we can help. There are various tools and tricks that go into creating a strong, clear, effective PowerPoint presentation and we can help you create presentations that convey your lessons and ideas to the class. If you’re having trouble crafting a lecture, our editors can help you construct a lecture or presentation, based on your notes or papers.

Assisting with presentations. If on-screen presentations make you nervous, we can help with that, too. Our consultations can be done over Skype and our editors can provide feedback on your presentation and teach you techniques and tricks to help make your teaching more effective.

For Students

Statistics tutoring and assistance. We know that statistics can be anxiety-provoking, even under the best of circumstances. Doing it online can be even harder. Our expert statistics team can provide support and guidance with statistics, as well as online tutoring via consultations. We cannot do your work for you, but we can answer any questions, help you work through problems, or review lessons with you.

Writing support. Let us make this clear: we will not write your paper for you. What we can do is provide critical feedback or clarification of professor comments and/or editing support. If you’re experiencing writing anxiety, our editors can provide consultations and help you brainstorm and come up with a writing plan. We can help you work through writers block and provide direction on how to take your next step in the writing process. We know that it’s hard to do all this online, and virtual tutoring or support can help.

If you’re struggling with either online teaching or learning, contact us today. Talk with us about what’s going on and we can see how we can assist you during this unprecedented time. Here at Dissertation Editor, we’ve been where you are and we want to help you succeed.

My statistician, Dr. Williams, helped me think through some of the challenges I've been having with the analyses, provided some helpful resources, and gave me a big boost of confidence. Dr. Williams and Dr. Leach were both very accommodating given my tight deadline. I really appreciated their support.
